Message	I don't know how much you paid for this speaker but expensive drivers for stereos and sound reinforcement are usually "reconed". In other words they will repair/replace the cone and or surround if the electromotor assembly is in good working order. I have had this done to a high end set of audio speakers with excellent results. Get a quote from a reputable shop and see if it is cost effective.
